Rebranding

My summer has been awesome. I had so much fun, and learned so much about myself and what my future can look like. I have completed my first promotion video for my worksite Baltimore Clayworks. The process was tiring and stressful but in the end I was successful and completed my task.

Now what’s next? Well I haven’t uploaded anything on my Youtube channel. My plan was to upload some videos this summer, but I’ve been too tired to do so. Furthermore my motivation has been lacking to create the content I love. Now my mind is beaming with ideas for videos and now I’m motivated enough to create entertainment for others. However I think my youtube channel needs a bit of a face lift. So with that being said I’ve been working on some designs for my video intro and banner. My favorite intro  I’ve come up with so far is a retro looking intro with a mashup of MTV and Netflix, with my own punk flare.

I’m proud of myself for creating something that really expresses who I am and for working hard to create content I think others would enjoy. I’m also glad that I didn’t rush myself into creating content and doing it for my enjoyment and not for the views and likes.

Producer in the Making

At my worksite I was given time to learn how to play piano and use softwares such as logic pro and FL studios to create beats. This is the first beat I’ve ever made and I am going to use it for one of my projects at work. It was very fun and intriguing making the beat. It has also opened up a new light for me. I went ahead and bought FL studios so I can continue to make beats at home or on the go. Even though it is my first time making an instrumental I think I could do better on it, but this beat is for a video going up on my worksite’s YouTube so I kept it more appropriate for the type of video it was and I am still very proud of it. But with that being said I have already started working on other beats at home on my laptop. I’m starting to feel like Steve Lacy or Pharrell lol.
